The primary focus of the TED Youth Ministries Department is 1) The Salvation of youth through Jesus Christ and 2) Equipping youth for Service.
We seek to achieve a balanced ministry by incorporating the Biblical dynamics of fellowship, nurture, worship and mission. We are also committed to conduct ongoing research to discover areas that need attention in the ever changing youth culture, and at present are in close co-operation with the Euro-Africa Division in conducting the European Valuegenesis survey.
The department is pioneering a TED Youth Evangelism Institute “Disciples Alive” as part of the Tell the World global evangelism initiative. Elijah Youth projects are also taking place in a number of countries within the division.
Major Youth events such as Youth Congresses and Pathfinder Camporees are a regular part of the youth calendar. These are run as memory events, meeting places for Adventist youth from both within and without the division and also to give significant spiritual opportunities for young people to meet their Saviour.
Adventist Volunteer Services
The Adventist Volunteer Service (AVS) plan for the worldwide church is designed to provide service opportunities for Seventh-day Adventists who want to share in the joy of taking the gospel to the world, matching their talents, gifts, resources and professional expertise with defined needs.
